I'm not sure about this blog. I love writing but I also want people to read me (what's the point of writing, otherwise, right?) I guess what I mean is, I wish readers would comment and let me know what they think. I also want to grow my readership and reach out to all of you. I keep checking Google Analytics to figure out what posts you like best, but obviously more clicks don't necessarily mean you are staying or browsing through the archives. So, what do I do?
I've started to learn HTML code - re-learn, rather, as this is something I learnt in computer lab way back in high school. I'm picking up a few design and photo-editing skills, though it's hard. I guess I also need to own my domain, and maybe change my blog name into something friendlier, especially for those (few) readers who don't speak Spanish. I'm learning about sizing pictures. I don't know, things like that, to make sure people not only find my blog but are attracted enough to it to come back and comment and build community.
I've been blogging for a few years now (I think I began in 2008) but you could say I'm still a novice at this. It hasn't been until very recently that I began to think in terms of growth and what it means to be a blogger. It's frustrating but I like it, if that makes any sense.
All of this is to say, please let me know what you think, in terms of design, content, anything!
