Writer's block

Punto. Ni más ni menos.

Lately I've been reading in several writers' and editors' blogs that writer's block is more a myth than a reality. Can we say excuses? I obviously didn't believe it; I thought "these authors are al snobs. Some of us have trouble getting ideas to start or follow a story."

However, this week I have discovered that it's true: writer's block is a myth. To fight it all one needs to do is sit in front of a blank page (virtual or otherwise) and write. There's no need for a ground-breaking idea; the point is to just write. One can always edit and erase later, but for now, all there is to it is writing. No more, no less.
